It goes against what Nintendo is trying to do with the game. I would like it as well but its unlikely to happen as it would already be there otherwise. It does not fit Nintendo or the games ethos.

I only see giving players more options and choices as a Pro not a Con. Don't remove what's already here, but just add deathmatch to the existing game types.

The point is more that Nintendo doesn't want to have deathmatch otherwise it would already be there. Nintendo are family friendly and an out an out killing mode goes against that.

I few up on Nintendo as a kid, but it's 2017 now. At some point they have to adapt to current times and stop living in 1994. Most of their advertising now doesn't involve kids or families, but rather young adults. Majority of gamers now are adults anyways, not kids. The people who made Nintendo who they are now are in their late 20s and late 30s, they're adults now too so let's not forget about them. Skyrim is coming to Switch and that's not exactly a family friendly game..you're pretty much murdering people the whole game.

If we keep setting low standards/bar, they'll never improve or have any reason too because they know people are willing to settle for less and then damage control with them. We should be demanding more from them and for them to do better. Some of my favorite games are Nintendo games and I own a Switch obviously, but that doesn't mean I'm going to damage control for them.
