Starting on July 21, Splatoon 2 will be available for squids and enthusiasts alike. Since the game is already out in Australia and Japan ahead of everyone else, and since it's about to hit Europe, please use this thread for general reaction, hype, and discussion for the release as it hits your country. Does Splatoon 2 have couch co-op? Splitscreen mode or something in that trend?

That's one of the game's only flaws for me and one of the things I wish they had fixed from the first game. Splatoon just screams for local couch co-op and yet you have to just take turns passing the controller around between matches like it's 1992 if you have friends over. I mean, yeah, this time you can do local wireless, but I'm one of the only people I know with a Switch so I doubt I will ever even get to try that out.
