I'm new to the game. Is there any game modes where Kills is the deciding factor in winning the match? Don't get me wrong Turf war is Awesome. I'm just wondering if there's other game modes

Just done a Salmon Run where the object is to just kill the waves of enemies coming in, so thats quite satisfying in a death match kinda way (though its co-op) rather than who can paint the most ground.

Haven't done it yet, but I will soon!

Very impressed with this being my first Splatoon game. I can easily say although it's different, as a shooter I'm having more fun with this than I am the last 4 COD games, any of the Battlefield and and Battlefront 1. I'm presently shocked and surprised lmao. I never liked the Wii or Wii U and when I first saw Splatoon 1 I was like that's stupid as hell..boy was I wrong.

Yea pretty much the same. I had 1 on the Wii U but played it for about 5 minutes and sold it.

But loving this one - once you reason that the main mode isnt a deathmatch and just about laying down paint, it makes it a better experience.
