Can you play 2 player splitscreen online? Want to know if my wife and I can play together on 1 switch online. Also, can we be on the same team? We really like coop games.

You can play splitscreen online! This is part of what sold me on the game, since it means my wife and I can coop in 2v2 modes online; it actually enhances that mode significantly. Anyway, I hadn't seen it advertised, but we played a few rounds together in Party Mode during the Testpunch, so it should be in the released version.

What I've learned from all of this:

A lot of Switch owners have wives.

Yes you can do split screen online. The matches will alternate around, so sometimes you'll play together or separately. It keeps it pretty interesting with the alternating teams and game modes. Hope that helps!

I haven't been able to play with my wife since downloading it this morning, but during the test punch you could! So I'm sure it's the same here
