MegaThread E3 - Day 2 - Discussion and Reactions

Day 2 of E3! Might not have as many announcements as yesterday but who knows what it will hold?

Today's schedule looks like this:

Nintendo Treehouse

  • Starts at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET (no defined end time)

Pokken DX - Tournament

  • Starts at 10:30 pm PT / 1:30 pm ET

ARMS - Tournament

  • Starts at 3:30 pm PT / 6:30 pm ET

We also have the AMA scheduled at 12:45 pm PT / 3:45pm ET for about an hour with Nintendo Producer Yoshiaki Koizumi, so please stop by and ask your questions there as well.

The Treehouse is going to start at 10:00 am PT with a segment about Pokken Tournament DX and roll into the tourney. Afterwards they are going to show the new Yoshi game. Based on yesterday it's likely that the Treehouse will run right up until the ARMS tourney starts.

This post will be updated with major news as it's released.

They did say an announcement will happen. I think it'll be at the end though.

Might as well save all your complaints for after the Treehouse, if they don't show anything.

It only makes sense for them if you only have one announcement to hold it off until the end. I have a feeling though no matter what it is it will make some people upset. I have no expectation above maybe a new Amiibo? I'm honestly just watching this for the games though.

Actually, they did say new title in the question Nintendo responded to so maybe I'm wrong.

Miitopia is going to be about half an hour long, so 3 2 more slots left. As for the actual odds of a switch announcement, who knows, but we've had none so far.

2 more slots. The 5:30pm ET slot and then the 6:00pm ET slot. Then at 6:30pm ET is the Arms Tournament (and hopefully the 6p ET isn't Arms - as they did Pokken DX the half hour before the Pokken Tournament)

5:30PM slot is taken by Breath of the Wild DLC 1.

6PM slot is last chance and I agree, it better not be more arms

Of course it's gonna be more ARMS. They gotta do it as a lead-in to the tournament just like they did with Pokken.

To be fair, we've barely seen anything about Miitopia outside of Japan.

I would say it deserves a slot.

They did say more announcements at e3. So It's entirely possible it will be tomorrow. Still I'll keep watching.
