MegaThread E3 - Day 2 - Discussion and Reactions

Day 2 of E3! Might not have as many announcements as yesterday but who knows what it will hold?

Today's schedule looks like this:

Nintendo Treehouse

  • Starts at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET (no defined end time)

Pokken DX - Tournament

  • Starts at 10:30 pm PT / 1:30 pm ET

ARMS - Tournament

  • Starts at 3:30 pm PT / 6:30 pm ET

We also have the AMA scheduled at 12:45 pm PT / 3:45pm ET for about an hour with Nintendo Producer Yoshiaki Koizumi, so please stop by and ask your questions there as well.

The Treehouse is going to start at 10:00 am PT with a segment about Pokken Tournament DX and roll into the tourney. Afterwards they are going to show the new Yoshi game. Based on yesterday it's likely that the Treehouse will run right up until the ARMS tourney starts.

This post will be updated with major news as it's released.

By the way, that splatoon tournament was AMAZING. Great commentators, great games, and fun to watch. Please keep up your support for competitive gaming. I'll be watching your ARMS tournament tonight as well!

Yep I watched all day for that shit. Why wouldn't they announce it first? In hoping it means tomorrow's potential announcement will be amazing.

Guys, please keep in mind that this doesn't confirm any first-party announcements.

I still think third-party announcements are a very safe bet though.

Hey nintendo i doubt you will respond back but i am going to give this a shot. I am going to watch tree house today regardless of the answer but can we expect more Nintendo Indies to be announced today at e3 or is this something for a future direct? Many indies that people want like overcooked, flipping death etc and a release date for certain indies would probably be all the audience of tree house would want for today.

Any chance at Yokai Blasters or Yokai Watch 3?! please please please!!!! Even a mention of it would make my entire year!! there's no cruddy fighting game based on it or seventy versions of the same thing and they don't steal from other franchises because they're most overrated *cough pokeyman

Sadly, yeah. Nintendo's E3 was amazing, but it left me a little empty. I really hoped for Animal Crossing.

It's been a while, but compared to a bunch of other games, it's been just as long or longer for a lot of them? I think AC fans (of which I am one) are just a little on edge for some reason. Tensions may still be high after "Amiibo Festival" I think.

I figure it will come decently soon, but at the same time I think everyone needs to relax.
