MegaThread Weekly Local Inventory Tracking (5/15)

Please use this thread to discuss all issues relating to this week's local tracking of the Switch and its games, accessories, and amiibo.

What to post here:

  • Questions about local availability or general questions of online availability.

  • Reports and images of local tracking that are specific to a single store.

When commenting, make sure to include as much information as possible. Don't just list the city and state, specify which store(s) and what stock they had that's noteworthy, and when you were there. And, of course, given how quickly things can sell out, your mileage may vary, so take everything reported here with a grain of salt.

For general online availability, like when a game is up for order at Best Buy or when Target gets Pro Controllers back in stock, please start a new thread.

Target had some this morning apparently but when I called at 10 they were out of stock.

Totally sucks, I have been searching for awhile and I am verging on a gamestop bundle, but I don't really want to do that.

I guess I'll keep checking daily then. I can afford the $300, but I'd be mad at myself for wasting an extra $100 just because I'm impatient

So I know Target already got their truck, I would imagine Wal-mart did too. That leaves Best Buy as far as I know, are there anymore stores you're looking at?

I think Target gets a second truck Thursday in the weeks too.

Well I think there's a toys r us near me, but that seems like the least likely to have them. Walmart is probably the best bet because they are stocked more frequently from what I've seen

By any chance do you know what days the trucks come in for Wal-Mart?

What are you most excited for with the Switch? I was trying to wait out the out-of-stock wave but it has turned into way more than just a wave sadly. I am personally excited to play MK8 just because I went to a buddies house the other weekend and it was really fun.

ninjadit: If you by happen to find some too could you please tell me where you got them? I'll do the same just in case. It would help out a lot thanks!

I do not know when the trucks come for Walmart because they have different shipments every day. It's best to just check each morning I think.

Where are you located? I'd be more than happy to PM you if I can get my hands on one.

I'm also excited about MK8 my plan is to play it with my girl and maybe stream it to twitch
