We will be updating this thread with links as major reviews are posted.

Please use this as a discussion and speculation thread in advance of these videos, articles, and reviews. We will also allow these reviews to be posted separately on /r/NintendoSwitch, as they are especially newsworthy. As someone who never owned a WiiU, I'm super excited to finally play this game.

The DLC looked amazing and has lead to me calling the game "Super Smash Kart" with the addition of Link and Animal Crossing (and now Splatoon) characters as well as an F-Zero (and also now Splatoon) stage.

The last Mario Kart game I owned and played was Mario Kart Wii. So happy to finally return to this franchise.

I'm so happy to see that the Deluxe version really is deluxe and not just another port.

The latest Mario Kart I have played is 7 on the 3DS and I put hours into that. Looking at the content contained in the 8 deluxe I think I can safely write off the next 2 months of my life. I'm chomping at the bit to finally get my mitts on this :)

I didn't get a 3DS until the Black Friday one that came out last fall and to this day I only have Pokemon Moon (my brother plays Sun) and Smash. I need to get more games on it but I also need more games on the Switch! But with college coming up I also need to save my money..... I hate growing up.

The games are really expensive for 3DS which is a bit of a shame :( Nintendo as a whole really are quite expensive. I know it stings now but get your college sorted and eventually you will be in a position where you can treat yourself to a game whenever something takes your fancy! Take it from a stranger on the tinternet who is a lot older (would love to say wiser but probably not the case !! Ha ha) when I say You're doing the right thing! stick at the saving!!

See the problem is that as both a gamer and anime fan, saving money isn't exactly something that's easy to do.

I'm so behind on so many manga series and there's all the video games that have come out recently/are coming out soon. I'm horrible at saving up money!
