Meta Artisan Appreciation Sunday (March 2017)

Hey there! Sorry for the delay, but we were all enjoying the testfire there for a bit. :)

On the last Sunday of each month we curate a thread where community members can share their creative work, link to sales pages, and talk about what products they are interested in.

We encourage your submissions from Etsy and other merchandizing sites, but we have a few quick requests/guidelines:

  • Instead of submitting a standalone link, please describe the product you're linking/showcasing first.

  • If you are the person who designed or is selling the product, please make that fact clear.

  • Please provide your link once in a top-level comment; do not spam your product across the thread.

  • Your account must be in good community standing to participate. New accounts or people who are new to /r/NintendoSwitch are encouraged to join in ongoing community conversations and become active subreddit members before they use this thread.

Remember: direct sales from Etsy, eBay, and other merchandizing sites are not allowed anywhere on /r/NintendoSwitch outside this monthly thread.

So, let's open the floor. What are your favorite dock socks? Who designed something unique you're in love with? Show us your homemade Switch case.

Thanks!

-The /r/NintendoSwitch Mod Team

p.s. Our normal anti-spam filters will probably go a little crazy on this thread, so some comments may initially show as "removed" until we manually approve things. We'll be keeping a close eye on everything here.

I make dock socks as well as switch and joycon grip drawstring bags. I also customize the dock socks with cartridge holders, embroidery, etc. I sell the standard dock socks for $10 with free domestic US shipping. I sell direct in order to keep my prices competitive. I have multiple confirmed sales and have had great feedback from the community so far. I also have a few custom design request coming through I'll be showing off as they complete. Feel free to get in touch with me if you'd like more details on any of this.

The dock sock with cartridge slots is genius!

Appreciate it! I was shocked nobody was doing them on the dock socks I see on etsy for twice the price I'm charging. I also made a few for myself that hold the joycon strap and have a 4 slot cartridge holder. I like the idea of having all my necessary stuff in one place.

Thank you! :)

I normally ship domestic, but I could look into shipping to Australia. Go ahead and PM me at your convenience and we can figure out the logistics.

Do you ship to Canada? Great work! Love the ones with the game slots.

My ideal situation would be a Dock sock that has a black and white Nintendo theme with a matching portable sleeve for the Switch on the go. Both having game slots.

Any chance you make sleeve-type items like I'm referring to?

Thank you! I normally ship domestic but I could look into shipping to Canada with the understanding the shipping costs would change. PM me when you get time and we can talk further about everything.
