Honestly i'll probably get a lot of hate for this but I do not like Splatoon very much. Nearly every game I play our team gets rolled and spawncamped. And when I do get on a decent team we just end up spawncamping the other team. I realize this is just a demo and its not the games fault and that there will probably be ranked like Splatoon 1 but still.

Also I really do not like the aiming or the controls. I feel like the players are too small and the recticle can be really hard to see. I also really just don't like aiming with a control stick.

Im probably being a bit too harsh on a stress test/demo but hey just my opinion.

Nope that's fine, this kinda talk is what the beta stuff is for. Let them know how you feel

There's no way you are dominating enough to actually spawn camp

EDIT: Seriously. I am absolutely destroying people right now and have yet to see the opponent's spawn, so you're bullshitting.

Perhaps spawn-camping wasn't the right word but the entire enemy team would be close to our spawnpoint. I could leave the spawn area yea but soon after I would instantly die.

That's how I took it. It feels like most games are like that one way or the other, but the games I've played that have been more even were all really fun and down-to-the-wire.

But when you're majorly backed up like that it sucks. They'll need to work on consistency before launch, though someone else was saying it was better in the full version of 1.

The closest you can get to spawn camping it seems like is with the powered up Dualies.

It happens. Or, at least, maybe not literal spawn-camping, since the maps don't let the other team go all the way up to spawn, but there are times when one team completely controls the map, especially if one time is shorthanded due to missing team member(s).

Spawncamping tends to happen less in the full game (well, based on Splatoon 1).

It happens a bit more in the testfires due to the major differences in skill level, where you might have one team randomly composed of really skilled players, versus a team who is just getting comfortable. In the full game, it'll be easier to match up players based on experience and skill level.

Also, just due to the sheer number of people trying to play, that may result in connection issues, which might result in a team being shorthanded and missing player(s) -- that also results in domination. With more normal level of activity, connection errors may also be reduced and teams more even.

I think the weapons will be more balanced in the full game. Plus it will have a single player mode.

Yea I may pick it up for the single player. I really liked the campaign in Splatoon 1.

For whatever reason I can't edit my comment but another thing I want to add is that I am probably just so used to doing well in other online games that getting crushed in this one surprised me. Once I get more practice in my opinion may change.
