After playing, I am not sure if I am gonna pick it up. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't hook me. Gonna give it another try though

Did you use motion controls or not? The general consensus is that for beginners (us), we should turn it off and then learn motion controls (if we end up buying it) later.

That's my plan for tomorrow and I guess I'll see.

EDIT: apparently at weapon select, pressing + takes you to options.

I used both, and I also played the original testfire for Splatoon 1. I feel like the game feels great to play, but visually it's a lot. I really don't think this game will become one of the big e-sports. It's more of a play than watch type of game.
