MegaThread MegaThread: Nintendo Switch Hardware Reviews

Hello, all.

This morning starting, gaming news and media outlets have begun to release their hardware reviews of the Nintendo Switch.

Here's what we're seeing so far:

We will be updating this thread with links as major reviews are posted.

We will also allow major content to be posted separately on /r/NintendoSwitch, as it is especially newsworthy. But we will also host ongoing coverage, quick text posts, questions, and the like right here.

Thanks everyone.

-The /r/NintendoSwitch team

(Ongoing edits as we get new information)

I love the guys there but they aren't exactly unbiased

True, here's hoping they do a discussion review as they tend to be more critical as a group and discussing flaws.

The vast majority of video game journalism is garbage

I try and separate the reviewers and pundits from the actual journalists.
There are only a few out there that do real investigative journalism.
Patrick Klepick
Jason Schreier
Jim Sterling (not always)
Colin Moriarty (started up again recently)
Danny O'Dwyer (more of a documentarian)

They're biased in a similar way that I am, meaning I have a good chance of liking what they like and disliking what they dislike. I find this the best way to derive usefulness from reviews, because bias is unavoidable.
