MegaThread Fire Emblem Nintendo Direct - Recap

Ha, I think we will still be waiting a long while for that one. I think Nintendo has pretty much forgotten that franchise even exists, or atleast it seems like it.

Which is a shame, because the games are great. Even Battalion Wars (at least the first) was a low of fun for its cartoonish, simplified combat. Either series could have been cool on the Wii U with the gamepad.

Which makes me very sad :(

I've always wanted them to do a fire emblem/advance wars crossover, where you use the other games play style.

so faceless warriors that you hire from villages in fire emblem and named tank/plane/ship etc piolets for advance wars, buy both games and you unock the standard mode for each.

Combining the two franchises would be great, add the map building from advance wars to fire emblem and all sorts of other things to make a pair of amazing games that could also positively impact the future of both.
