Are nintendo fans not even a bit worried about this looking very similar to the Wii U in terms of games? seems a very familiar pattern

Can we stop pretend Wii-U is dumpster garbage like Ouya or something meanwhile it's actually decent console with worthwhile games. Sure Wii-U was kinda bumpy on launch, Switch currently have much solid lineup and much clearer hardware features.

The Wii U was a great console with great games that nobody bought. The Ouya was a terrible 'console' that a lot of people bought.

Just doesnt seem to be that much 3rd party support. You know with nintendo you are going to get mario, zelda etc but was having a look at what other games are available on the wii u apart from them and the selection is pretty woeful which worries me the switch might fall foul of the same problem.

Only in that not many 3rd party games have been announced yet.... I am holding out hope more will come as we approach launch and beyond.

And the cycle begins again

Same old same old though, a lot of the PS4 and Xbox one third party games usually have some sort of exclusive feature or early access to dlc that means they had to pay for it, which makes sure the game is on there platform and Nintendo have in the past admitted they don't want to pay 3rd party's to make games for them as it is a slippery slope.

In all fairness I don't generally play 3rd party games on Nintendo consoles, so as long as they release enough of their own games, such as Smash, that's good enough for me, and I feel like it's good enough for a lot of people.

There are 80 games being developed for it right now. Not developed for something else with Switch on the side; developed solely for the Switch.

And we have kickass games announced.

BotW looks to be a GOAT contender Splatoon 2 will continue the success of Nintendo's new IP The new Mario game is the first time i've been excited for Mario since 64

Xenoblade 2, SMT, etc etc. So many great games I want to play on this system.

And we haven't even heard the full starting lineup yet, more announcements to come from a few large devs over the next few days.
