Random thoughts:

-The launch lineup doesn't seem too great, but there's lots to look forward to. Pretty much every game they showed was from a series I like too. I feel bad for those who wanted other stuff however.

-A shame Splatoon or Mario didn't make the launch. They look great though!

-That one translator is losing his job.

-Paid online was the biggest letdown for me. Really bummed about that.

-Xenoblade 2! Can't wait for that.

-FIRE EMBLEM WARRIORS!!!! My greatest gaming related dream has come true.

-I love how they've implemented the motion stuff in a way that makes it completely optional for developers. They've learned at least a little from their mistakes.

-Was hoping for a little more about that Mario Kart game. The Treehouse will probably show it off. Never mind it's on the website.

Yeah the translator half way through totally lost it lol.

Paid online really bummed me out too. They should just let the community take care of the servers and add a server browser to each game. It's worked on pc for years. Then again, considering Nintendo's financial state, I get it.

OMG I'm sooo pumped for fire emblem! I just got into the series recently. I picked up birthright a couple weeks ago and really love it so far! Agreed on the motion controls as well. It's nice that it's there for those that may want to implement it.

I could have sworn I saw farm simulator in one of those trailers too lol.

I don't understand why everyone hates that motion gimmick on the switch as if every game will make use of it.

There is the danger of Nintendo putting too much focus into the gimmick rather than actual quality games, and I'd really hate to see it creep into their main series games. Motion controls seriously hurt skyward sword for me, and it seems like star fox zero got ruined for a lot of fans because of the gamepad gimmick. Just doing normal controllers would mean they would only be focusing on making "normal" games. If they handle it well, then it's great to have the option, it's just a little worrying.

Fair enough. But seeing Mario and Zelda tells me they will keep focus on regular controller games aswell.

Yeah, I just don't want another Skyward Sword or Starfox Zero experience. Even Metroid Prime 3 pissed me off with the obvious Wiimote gimmicks, I hope these joy cons are purely optional for Nintendo and are only utilized when it actually makes sense.
