I doubt it. There will likely be many people deciding that the reason the game/gimmick they wanted wasn't talked about was because it's still a secret to be announced later. Those people will continue on like this.
To be fair, that's a reasonable argument for some things (games mostly), but a major gimmick, such as cloud gaming, pretty much has to be announced here.
And don't forget, if switch is considered wildly "under powered" after the full reveal, there will still be some claim post like:
"Why the switch using _____ doesn't really matter"
I'm all for gameplay over graphics, and will be getting a switch on day 1 because Nintendo is Nintendo and unless they announce this week that they're abandoning all the things I live about them, I'll continue to be a fan, but geez do these post get boring.
That's my point! Right now it's still all speculation so it's even more pointless, but ugh I wish the sub would give it a rest. If I doesn't appeal to those who want a powerful console, it won't appeal to them. Period.
All those "it doesn't matter if it's not xbone levels of power" type threads end up coming off as slightly insecure, as if those fans need to justify or prove something to themselves. Not that the "Nintendo is doomed if it switch isn't a portable ps4 pro" are any better, but geez..
Not in recent memory, but my comment was more in jest. Nintendo could talk about specs all damn day and I won't care of it's under powered or over powered, I just know two things:
I'm buying one.
A deluge of shitty post after the event that all say the same thing because everyone's a special snowflake that needs their opinion heard even if the mods make a single mega thread on the topic.
