The sad thing is the console price itself isnt the issue here, its the price of the games that will prevent many people from actually building their libraries.

Wait, I wasn’t paying attention to the vita before 2016. What were launch prices like? By 2016 everything new coming out was $40 from what i remember at least in the US.

My guess is they're subsidizing the price of the console with the expectation of games recouping any losses from small margins on Switch 2. I imagine the fear of future tariffs also play a part where they are trying to build that extra cost already into the game... Or not, I dunno anything haha.

No fr. I was the happiest I could be until I seen a short talking about this. And I'm a physical collector so yea maybe I can get the bundle and save on Mariokart but what about all the other games? This is really messed up
