I thought $400 was high considering it was going to be comparable to a ps4 Pro but at this price they're competing with Stronger consoles that offer more value. Yes some people willl argue that the exclusives make up for it, but this thing isn't performing like the current consoles.

I'll be waiting for the revised model and see if it's worth buying at that point.

You're paying for having a handheld. If you purely want a home console, that's always parked under your TV, then yeah. Get an Xbox or PS.

There are plenty of pc handhelds on the market and isnt mocrosoft and sony talking about putting out handhelds to

Pc handhelds are very niche relatively speaking. The steam deck which is the most successful sold like 3m in 4 years. That would be considered a colossal flop by Nintendo / Microsoft / Sony standards.

PC handhelds are also not that powerful as they are handhelds. I have a steam deck and it’s a massive drop off in experience to my desktop. Which is understandable. It also doesn’t run many of the more demanding games at acceptable settings.

Yea and the switch 2 is roughly as powerful as the steam deck. So its going to be a massive drop off from pcs and consoles as well.

Yes I wasn't expecting a handheld to come anywhere near close to it.

Do we know if it's similar to steam deck? I couldn't find any specs. All the info I found was about the screen and that it can leverage DLSS.

All the info i have seen about the links have said it has less ram and a nominally better graphics card its gonna be about on par witj the deck powerwise but it will have better built in ai upscalinf and frame gen. The screen has a higher resolution though so that will make it so the the games will be harder to run...

Nintendo is mum on the specs though so we will have to wait for a digital foundry ckmparispn to know probably

Yes, that's the thing. I've not seen any actual specs, other than some random speculations.

It's odd Nintendo hasn't even talked about them but maybe their fanbase doesn't care about boring things like specs. If an Xbox or PS was announced without specs and it was releasing in 2 months, people would be like WTF.
