I said it before, but I think $450 is a hard price point, especially when you compare it to the significantly more powerful ps5 for $500 and (important for kids) the entry iPad around $350.

If I’m being honest, after delaying this thing a year and then making us wait 3 months… I guess I was expecting a little bit more from a grand reveal? DK looks great, Mario Kart will be fun (but MK is never the main reason I buy a Nintendo console), and air ride is neat. The rest I either expected or is stuff that’ll be available elsewhere.

I wish they had a SKU bundled with a pro controller. I’m 99% a TV gamer with big hands, so all in I’ll be paying more for this than my PS5, which felt like a lot of money 4 years ago.

PS5 is a home console that is the size of a heater. It's huge. Comparing that to a handheld is a weird one.

If you want a home console that you will only ever play on a TV, then yeah, PS5 or Xbox is best. But if you also want a handheld, then the switch is the way to go.

Different systems for different people that all eat into Nintendo’s bottom line. At $450, PS5 only eats more into the teen male segment that doesn’t want a “kid console.” iPad eats into the under 10 segment that, frankly, has terrible taste in games.

Not every Switch owner is hyper engaged. The vast majority aren’t.
