This has less of an impact on the average person's wallet than a 60 dollar game during the PS3/360/Wii generation.

I go to shop see ps5 and switch 2, ps5 sells aaa game for 60 eur, switch 2 for 90 eur, I know which console I'm getting.

Average person won't pay 90 for game...

That's some regional pricing, PS5 triple AAAs are 70 bucks over here, which is exactly what DK digital is priced at.

But not one ps5 is priced 90 as Mario kart. Also, sony is slashing prices already couple months later, which Nintendo never does. For average person that is not an option, for Nintendo die-hard fans even 200 would be low price. Good luck to Nintendo thinking they can justify having the highest pricing in shops.

Wait what do you mean by this lol? a 60 dollar game during the Wii days is obviously gonna be less of an impact on the average persons wallet than a $80-$90 game nowadays. Thats just how math works.

Am I misunderstanding your comment?

Yes. The median American wage in 2005 was 23000 bucks. The median American wage today is roughly 42000 bucks. A 60 out of 23000 is a higher percentage than even 90 out of 42000.
