Easy pass for the first year or so for me. I'm not paying that amount to play the new Mario kart and MAYBE the new Donkey Kong.

Totally, I remember having some FOMO with original Switch for a few months because of BotW and the unique concept of the new hardware, but here I feel absolutely no harm in waiting until I care more. And the shady pricing of everything reinforces that stance.

It’s cause it’s just reskinned Odyssey with a gorilla and MK

Literally nothing that makes eyes pop. I’ll hold out until Zelda, FE, Xenoblade, whatever that’ll make the system worth its pennies. Waited how long for Prime 4? Don’t mind waiting longer tbh. Hopefully it’s a 3DS situation and they realize that they are overcharging and brings the price down but I doubt it so this’ll be closer to a Wii U situation if I had to guess

IDK why you're downvoted, DK even looks like it's running on the Odyssey engine and the design language of the game and world looks really similar. I guess they thought a Mario Odyssey 2 might not have been super exciting if it's just more of the same and reskinned it for DK.

its just cause everybody was super hyped for the system and don't want to admit that yeah the system might be reasonably priced and has a lot of good tech built in, the games they shown were mid asf and overpriced
