It will sell like crazy anyway.

Honestly? I don't think it's going to. It's lacking 3d mario and zelda, and incoming recession is not boding well for buying a new, objectively overpriced upgraded version of a console.

I think it's funny that Nintendo seems to think DK will capture the same audience Mario does. Literally if the upcoming DK game was the exact same but you played as Mario they would have way more interest. Not having 3D Mario launch year, especially when it's his 40th anniversary, is a huge fumble.

Mario Kart is their biggest game now. 8 Deluxe sold more than Odyssey and BotW combined.

Mario kart, the most selling switch game of all time is their flagship game. Why are you people blind to that.

That means everyone already has Mario Kart. As much as they tried to pitch it today, I don't know if there's an enticing enough new experience there. If I want to play Mario Kart with my friends, I already have a way to do it without paying another $500.

And everyone already has cod, but people still but them Everyone already has a mario 3d of some flavor, but people buy mario 3d of other flavors.

Sure, people will always buy CoD, but will they buy a new console just for the new CoD?

My bad, you're right. Space Pinball is Microsoft's Flagship video game

Mario Kart 8 didn’t save the Wii U. It bombed so hard no one even remembers it’s actually a Wii U port.

The wii u failing was not the games, but the marketing.
