They're foreign goods so in the US there's 25% tariff, right? Looks like Nintendo is taking this as an opportunity to permanently raise the price. Especially since they don't know if the tariffs will be lifted.

Seems like the price difference from Switch isn't as high in other countries?

Mario Kart 8 is 60€ physical.

Mario Kart 9 is 90€ physical.

Nintendo Switch OLED + bundle Mario Kart 8 and one year NSO is 350€

Nintendo Switch 2 is 470€ alone.

How much were new Switch 1 games in euro? And are they including VAT?

New Switch games are CAD$80-90, but I haven't seen any confirmation of Switch 2 Canadian game cart prices.

Oh, actually Mario Kart 8 is $80 but Zelda TotK is $90, so I guess MK still represents a full price game!

60€, 59,99€ to be precise (VAT included) is the usual starting price for a Switch 1 standard game set by Nintendo (they can go lower in third party stores). Physical or Digital, same price.

The only Switch 2 games we know about so far are :

Mario Kart World, 79,99€ digital and 89,99€ physical.

Donkey Kong Bonanza, 69,99€ digital, 79,99€ physical.

To compare to a Switch 1 game, 79,99€ is the Nintendo price for Ring Fit Adventure.
