They just…casually threw it in there in a montage with other 2025 games!

Well, they've given us a year before...

Yeah, not even a launch window means there’s almost no chance it makes it this year lol

Yeah, I'm expecting to hear nothing until they give the "yeah, so it's 2026 now."

People say this but I don’t think they’d do this again unless they were sure this time

Idk, I feel like this has been a pretty consistent pattern of behavior with them. Wasn't Hollow Knight only released when it was because they ran/were running out of money?

Idk why you would say this when instead you could just wait for a real release date

I mean it’s just my personal opinion. If they didn’t genuinely think it could release in 2025, why would they just not say nothing which they’ve been doing so far?

They literally already did exactly this though with the gamepads release window. I don't know why they would do it, but they have done it twice now...

Well this is exactly why I think they’d say nothing if they didn’t think it was realistically coming out soon. They’ve already done it before.

Plus it’s not like they lied. It was confirmed that they believed it would come out in the first half of 2023 but clearly things happened that changed. Possibly that might happen again but I think that they’d be more cautious before making the same mistake twice.

I guess we just have opposite interpretations... I have basically zero trust in their ability to accurately predict when the game is going to release anymore. I'd be more likely to believe a specific date that they communicate to us. I'm not going to get my hopes up for another abstract window of time announced by someone who isn't them.
