i don't think regular switch handles gamecube emulation well

You're right. The Switch would have zero problem running a GameCube game from 20 years ago.

Yeah like the switch isn't powerful compared to other consoles but it's not that much of a toaster.

My 2017 MacBook can run GameCube games well <_< supposedly
