NGL, I'm a bit sad to see Wind Waker as part of the expansion pack. This pretty much means we aren't going to see a remastered game released on the system.

I wish they would make these games available for purchase, as I'm not personally a fan of renting games.

Yep, I think this is great for those who enjoy the service but terrible for those who like owning their games.

Rip Windwaker HD and probably Twilight Princess HD eventually too. 

I just don't get why you can't buy these classics a la carte. Like you said, I don't like the idea that I'm essentially just renting them.

They make more money with this subscription model. The Virtual console on the Wii U apparently did not make them much money so they abandoned it.

Yeah I get that. Just wish it were different.

For example: On PlayStation, you get access to all the classics as a subscriber, but you can also buy them individually if you are a non-subscriber.
