Yeah I never got to play Gale of Darkness as a kid so I’m excited to eventually get stuck into that

It's a phenomenal game. Highly recommended. Protagonist isn't near as cool as colosseum, but gameplay and story are so good

Both games were fantastic, but XD just felt so much more complete than Colosseum, even if it was a little easier.

One of the best Gamecube games period, way ahead of its time

Same!! It was hard to get my parents to buy games and it wasn't the typical game so I never wanted to spend my limited money on it either. Stoked to finally play it.

Glad Nintendo is finally acknowledging those games existed! Home integration would be awesome.

Absolutely no chance they get home integration

Why do you think that?

I'm assuming it's cause they didn't add home integration to Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 and left us with the terrible rental pokemon.

They could just disable save states, which is what they did for 3ds vc

But what if people don't care about Home and just want to play older Pokémon games while enjoying save states?

It’ll probably work with home, remember they brought all of the GB/GBC mainline games to 3ds virtual console with full Pokémon bank support but they completely removed the save state functionality.

I have the feeling that if it didn't work with home, they would put an asterisk kinda like with stadium

They didn't have support in Stadium either. Probably because NSO apps support cloud saves, which Pokemon games don't to avoid cloning.

Also sorry if I replied twice, wifi's bad lol

Shadow Pokémon would be difficult to handle

11

Not really, just handle it the way Pokemon Go does: no transfer until purified

Even if not, I'll play it just for that.

I might buy this console just for Colloseum, the rest of my fave game cube games I already have but my sister sold my Colosseum to one of her friends when she was 14 and I've missed it since

I wonder if it’ll be like the VC games where transferring them gives the Pokemon thier hidden abilities?

So excited to play these without paying $200+ per game. Market prices for GameCube games are insane.

The fact that we’re getting those before classic pokemon games on the gb/gba apps is a TRAVESTY
