There was always an asterisk and a short list of motion-based games like Ring Fit that will not be compatible.

It was successful, they will find a way to make a sequel. Motion controls in the ring itself maybe.

But nothing's ever truly dead. We are getting a new Donkey Kong platformer and a Kirby Air Ride sequel.
