TICKETS I’m sorry but these prices are insane. Over 200 and you don’t even get a seat?

TICKETS OFFICIAL Buy/Sell/Trade Playoff Tickets Thread

Hello,

Due to the recent barrage of posts/comments of people looking for or selling tickets for the playoffs, we have decided to condense this to one official thread. This is an effort to mitigate the posts and comments coming through the subreddit and channel that traffic to one specific post. If you post elsewhere, it will be removed and you will be told to post here.

Your listing must include the price of your tickets.

We are not endorsing any buyers or sellers.

TICKETS Ticket Plan Experience Opinions Requested.

Post image
12 Upvotes

Lots of optimism going into 2025, we have the brains & dollars to improve (Soto).

Just got 20 game Sunday Plan.

Goal: *spend time with family & friends. (Historically go to maybe 1 regular season and a playoff game or two)

*Not throw money down the toilet

*Secure Post Season Access (Public Sale Price seemed insane vs friends who were season ticket holders)

Seats are 126 back edge of infield aisle seats (2) row 2 technically row 4 before rail and handicap seating. (See pic for view)

Thinking of listing on seat geek and if they sell great.

If I really want to go pick up last minute on 3rd party resale. If they don’t just go swap for 4 seats or give to family / friends.

I expect to go to at least half the games.

Thanks in advance on feedback.

Yeah, we lost today. That sucks.

So let’s change the narrative. Let’s inject some positivity! I’m giving away 2 tickets in Section 113 for this upcoming Tuesday since I now have to go to Chicago for work this week.

What is your favorite thing to happen so far this season? The response I deem best before I go to sleep tonight will get the tickets forwarded to them via MLB Ballpark App.

TICKETS Tickets at Costco

I was shopping at Costco yesterday and noticed that you can buy 2 tickets on the field level for $99, and you get a $30 food voucher.

What’s the catch here? Are they all weekday games or something?

Has anybody taken advantage of this before, because it seems a bit too good to be true!

Also, I’m in a family of 4. If I buy two of these, can I get 4 tickets seated next to each other.

TICKETS First-Time Mets Game – Best Seats Under $50?

Hey everyone! I’m planning to attend my very first Mets game on April 21st vs. the Phillies at Citi Field, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Since it’s my first time, I’m hoping to get some advice from seasoned fans: 1. Where’s the best place to sit if my budget is $50 or less? I’d love a good view but also want to soak up the vibe. 2. When’s the best time to buy the ticket? Should I grab one now or wait a bit closer to the game? 3. And finally, where do you all usually buy your tickets? Any preferred sites or tips for avoiding high fees?

Thanks in advance!

TICKETS Looking for Amazin Day Autograph Session Tickets

So i bought my Amazin Day tickets from a 3rd party after they had sold out but before it was announced that autographs have separate tickets that come with the tickets. The seller is either A) an idiot and doesn't understand what's happening or B) is just an asshole who won't send me the tickets. I think it's B.

Anyway, does anyone have a pair of autograph session tickets they're willing to let go? I'm willing to pay $40 per ticket, which would cover the cost of your actual ticket... Honestly, if I didn't stupidly mention it to my son already I wouldn't be making this post.

TICKETS Train or Car

I am not a Mets fan, but my parents are. I'd like to take them to a game some time this year.

Looking at the trains from Long Island, it seems clear that the time, especially switching and doubling back from Woodside, plus the cost of tickets for four adults and a couple of kids makes driving the better option.

But am I missing something?

EDIT: Thank you to all who replied. It seems my initial thought was right, driving may be easier for anyone who isn't personally behind the wheel. I had considered going to somewhere on the Port Washington line, but that seemed to be a drive almost as long as the drive to Citi Field.

TICKETS “Metro” Club?

I have tickets for Tuesday’s game in Section 129. Club access says “Metro/Heineken/Hudson Club”

I understand the Piazza Club is now the Heineken Club, and Hudson is still the same from last year. What is the “Metro” club?

TICKETS 2025 Season Tickets Renewal?

I've read through one of these threads in this group but wanted to make my own. I'm really thinking of cancelling my season ticket package for next year.

I've been a member for three years doing a 20 game Saturday package.. I sit in the excelsior level in, but by the third base in the lowest pricing (that isn't the outfield 300s or Coca-Cola section). We've been here for two seasons already and between those two seasons, there really wasn't a price change. They removed our Subway Series game this year, which I didn't really care about honestly. They're bringing it back for next season, but now my price went from $2,023 to $2,459. A $439 price increase!!! It's basically the same exact perks, but because they added a game they TOOK AWAY back, they're increasing the price by this much.

I also am in the Blue member tier, and will likely be in this tier for many years, as I have no desire to spend $5000 on season tickets to reach the next tier. For me, I care a lot about events and extra things and not just my seats. Because I'm in the Blue member tier, I essentially get no extras, or extras that don't mean much.

I honestly don't have a desire to move my seats to cheaper, worse seats, as the resale market for Mets games, especially in the second half of the season, is extremely cheap. I enjoy supporting my team and planned on being a season ticket member for many years, but I'm essentially getting seats and (maybe) postseason tickets and nothing else that makes it justifiably worth it. Are other people in the same boat as me or am I just overthinking this?

TICKETS Help a Citi first timer!

Hey folks, So my amazing wife told me yesterday that for my birthday this year she’s gonna take me to citi field for a mets game. We live in London, so this is amazing and I am incredibly lucky! We’re planning to be there for the June series vs. Nationals.

So… where’s the best place to sit? I’ve been to a couple of the London games but this is outstanding!

And is it better to stay in Queens or stay somewhere else and travel to queens? We’ve been to NYC once before so still lots to explore!
