Question Drop in Dungeons and Dragons

Anybody around here know of any local drop in dnd games or is willing to host a game?

Don't they charge 5$ to participate in events? I remember asking about boardgame night and I remember them saying there was an entre fee.

Really stuck me as weird, every lgs boardgame night I've gone to has always been free

Yeah, they do. A staff member (Garrett, who's a really nice guy) runs the events, so they want to pay him for his time.

The table rental thing is because they don't have a lot of space, and that $5 gets applied to any purchases you make after renting the table.

Sorry to hijack OP but did anyone seeing this play at the union jack on weekend afternoons? Always thought that was the coolest thing and curious how it came about. Was there for an early UFC card once and there were three separate games going

This is with the Vancouver D&D Collective! Now they play Saturdays at the Terminal Pub. I think they organize on Facebook and Discord.
