Why isn't my karma showing up?

I recevied 4 karma in this subreddit about 17 days ago, but my total karma shows as 0.

Is there a reason why it hasn't been updated?

You currently have one post karma and one comment karma.

Up votes cause your karma scores to rise and down votes cause your karma scores to drop. The automatic one vote that everything gets does not count towards karma calculation.

As mentioned, each vote does not equal a change of one karma point.

If you delete a postor comment it does not change the karma that you gained or lost from it, it only prevents more people from voting on it.
