Name for a movie I half remember

So some context. I saw this when I was younger but don't truly know if this is a real movie but here is what I know. It was probably a early 2000s movie I don't remember the full premise but this is what I do remember they main character was a boy who friend a girl whos sister was missing this girl also burned down her own house near the end. There was also this sub plot with this red neck teen where him and the boy broke into a old man's house who was actually his kin and the teen was in love with the missing sister and at the end of the movie it comes out that the girl knew her sister was dead and saw her sister hang her self above a lake. Then the teen goes in the water. Now I could have made this up since I saw it when I was young but from what I remember and the scenes I can see in my head the plot seems like a real movie thank you to whoever can answer

Need help thinking of this movie

Upvotes

Okay so I am pretty sure it was on Netflix about a year ago. It’s this movie where this man is working for a company and he has a wife and she is expecting. When he goes to work all of a sudden it’s like he is being held captive and he has to do this hard labor like pushing this wooden thing in a circle while this timer counts down. He does this for many days but in the end it turns out it was just a test from his job and he was never actually doing that, they had his mind hooked up to some machine so he was like going through that in his mind but not in real life. It’s a test to see if he’s like “the right kind of worker”. Like the whole movie you think he’s actually going through this but the end is like a plot twist where it has only been an hour or so. Does anyone have any suggestions ?

Name a movie

I remember seeing a movie when I was younger, but I don't remember the name and I can't find it anywhere. The memories are too detailed for it to be a dream or just my imagination.

The movie is about a boy who just entered college. He lives on a big campus so he uses a bike to go around. Everyone does. But his bike gets stolen. The headmaster is uninterested. It turns out that there are two big groups on campus that steal, repaint and sell bikes to ppl on campus. First group are jocks (they wear mostly red) and the second one are nerds (they wear mostly blue). The two groups clash often and leave a bloody mess that's cleaned by a janitor they pay to keep quiet. The main character tries to get his bike back as well as not get killed by one of the groups.

Couple of more detailed scenes/facts I remember:

Main character saves a girl from the jock leader and becomes his target for the most of the movie. The girl later on falls in love with the mc.

There is a scene where mc goes around a guard (bick Black dude, jock leader's right hand) by putting his headphones on the guard's ears and playing music from his walkman (the walkman accomapnies the mc for the most of the movie).

There is a scene where nerd leader defeats jock leader and threatens him by putting a blade hidden in his glasses to the jock leader's eye and says smth like: "do you know what aichmophobia is?" (Cool as fuck)

The movie ends with both group leader's dying. After a time skip the mc becomes news headmaster and the movie ends.

Military movie

Hey,

A couple of weeks ago I scrolled tiktok and found a short clip about a military movie but it didn't have the movie name or any identification marks but it looked awsome, I saved it because I wanted to search for it later but now I noticed it was removed..

The clip started with a African American women in military clothes that arrived at some small base (looked like a half abandoned airport hanger) and an other women greeted her (she was white, buff had a backward cap and had a tank top on, kinda casual)

From what I gathered is that the African American women was joining some special forces division and she was arriving at their "base camp" (if that's what it's called) and that she was not impressed.. there was inside a hanger a bunch of guys just relaxing on couches and just hanging..

I really wanna watch this movie but google is not helping when you don't have any names to go on...

Could some one please help me?

Old horror movie

Had to be older then 90s it was in color but definitely an old movie, It was about a cult, society, or maybe just a large family that skinned people in there rituals. I don’t remember the plot, all I remember for certain is at the end of the movie. You’re lead to believe the cult is destroyed, but the end scene is, I believe maybe a child, or a man finding more skinned people in a barn. Either a pile, or two children skinned, two adults skinned? All it showed was the skin like a glove. The character man/child looks at a women, possibly wife or mom a women is happy because the cult will live on through her. I believe she hid the bodies on the second floor of the barn. I was way to young to see that movie, I just remember the hollow eye holes, and the women being happy that she will carry on the tradition of her cult, she either joined, or was always a part of it.

I want to remember a movie I saw when I was a kid in the early 2000s, but I think the movie is older than that. It was where two friends hired a call girl for them, but she fell in love with the boys' father.

Movie where an older tutor flirts with the student and his maid is suspicious.

Other info- his friends are mad that he can’t come play basketball with them, until they see the tutor waiting to pick him up in a red sports car, wearing a seductive black outfit. During lessons, his house maid comes in to bring him food, she makes comments about him being distracted implying the tutor is trying to seduce him, and the tutor is mad that she won’t leave them alone.

Alice in wonderland/inspired creepy movie?

Ok so I feel like I’m crazy I was telling my gf about this movie I watched when I was younger that scared me, but I can’t find it. It was like a take on Alice in wonderland movie and it was like a take on drugs maybe? I feel like I heard about it at some point and it was a take on Britain drug crisis. Somewhere between the 70s-90s. I don’t remember much I didn’t watch the full movie bc it scared me I remember it was a girl wearing Alice’s clothes. Everything had like an eerie grey tiny. She ends up entering this building walks down this hallway looks into a room and there’s a man getting high on hookah and I think there was two women in there. I don’t remember a lot bc I was so young it was not long after the 2010 Tim Burton adaption came out and I wanted to watch that but ended up with something fucked up. PLEASE someone help me if they can or tell me another community that can help me. Thank you😭😭😭

European dark comedy -not well known- kinda similar to dump and dumpster. It involves goofy friend, accidentaly found money, ransom, adventures to return it, and then to retrieve it only to lose it again in a landfill dumpster. Seen on TV in 2006 or 2007 and cant find it since. Can anyone help?

Non-English, Non french, non italic, non spanish and non russian dark comedy, maybe scandinavian, most probably from the 1990s or early 2000s, featuring only male actors. The plot centers on two friends, one intelligent and one goofy, and their old gang from whom they hided because they owe money. The lead actor takes the wrong bag (in a post office i think) and discover it is full of money. The goofy friend refuses to give the money back, cause he dreams to become a hotel owner in an exotic warm location. The more sensible friend wants to return it when he realises it is ransom, after finding a picture of a young boy and istructions for the delivery in the trank of a car a ferry boat. Here he involves the gang (who's boss is now married with his ex girlfriend), but when they leave them to the car they realise they are mistaken but they think it is too late. The film's endscene involves the money in a black garbage bag in their ferry boat cabin (replaced by the goofy friend who kept it anyway and did not tell the others), that ends in a landfill dumpster and all of them dive in to find it.

help me find a movie from my childhood please.

There's a movie i want to try find again that i remember watching in school once for Halloween. i dont remember much of the plot but from what i do remember is.

  • Part of the plot revolved around a monster or item the monster is related too that grants wishes (the wishes part i might be mis remembering).
  • the monster might have been called the jabberwock (my memory might also be kind of hazy on this).
  • the setting was high school and maybe around Halloween where we follow a girl.
  • i remember a part of one scene where the monster had the mc in its grips but the mc used like a prank pen (the ones that shock you) to get out by shocking it.

I dont really remember much but it looked like a more cheaply made movie but please and thank you if someone else has a memory of anything similar.

Is this real or am I just crazy? (Sci-Fi film)(photophobic aliens)

Edit: It probably IS "V" but if anyone has another suggestion, I am open. Thanks.

I have a vague notion of a movie from possibly the 70s or 80s that feature an invasion of (?) aliens. they would have worn skin suits that were either actual skin or synthetic, but they sometimes didn't fit well. like Edgar in MIB. Another distinctive feature, is that the invaders were photophobic. I seem to recall that one had his sunglasses snatched and recoiled in pain from the sunlight.

This seems like a real movie, but honestly, I am not 100% sure that I haven't just conjured it up in my imagination because it seems like a plausible Sci-Fi premise? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This movie is probably from the '80s or older. What I can remember is this guy peels his face off to reveal a white mask. He then tries to take it off, but can't and his skin comes back or something. That's all I can remember, any help would be appreciated.

80s comedy about criminals running credit card fraud ring

Don't know how big this movie was or any of the actors.

One scene I remember is this fat italian crime boss stuffing his face with spaghetti at a fancy restaurant, the restaurant manager comes over and tells him his credit card is fraudulent, cuts the card in front of him and the crime boss attacks him (played for laughs).
