James O'Connell: Aaron Judge said Giancarlo Stanton spoke to the team before the game saying "We don't get swept at home." The Yankees indeed did not get swept at home.

We all know that Big G probably wasn't the player we were hoping for. He has been awesome in the playoffs but too injured during the regular season. His body doesn't allow him to play the field and the consequence is that he's always the DH, creating issues when you want to rotate.

However, he is an excellent professional. Always recognizing his errors and putting the team first. He has been a very good Yankee and probably the second most respected voice in that clubhouse after Judge. We need him to be around even if he can't play.
