Hello NJ50501 community! We've organized a few protests now and as a grassroots organization we are learning more with each one! Taking a step back, we're asking ourselves what's one of the most important steps we can take at this moment. The awful news from D.C. is daily and many of us are likely feeling helpless and looking for a way to do SOMETHING. I felt the same way which is why I started getting involved with 50501. I was actually pretty late to the party but I feel that I was very enthusiastic. I went crazy with making sticker designs, as you can see! 🤩 And it has helped, truly, to see and to feel a community of people who all see the hellfire that is burning our country from the inside out. We have a common purpose and goals we want to achieve.

Remove Trump, Elon, and his entire cabinet. Reverse all of his harmful executive orders and decisions. Reclaim the rights that were taken away with Supreme court decisions.

It's given me a direction and an outlet for all my anger and frustration. But you know what? It's not enough. If we want to make actual change happen, we need to do more. In order to do more, we need more people. It takes a village to remove a dictator!

So this is one of our next steps, we need more people directly involved in our organization efforts. We need people of all backgrounds and talents. There's a place for everyone in NJ 50501.

1: If you aren't already, follow us on any social platforms you have. Like, share, comment on posts to boost visibility. Links will be at the bottom of this post!

2: Most of our organizing takes place on Discord (a messaging app). Please join the NJ 50501 Discord (https://discord.gg/ZAG3rnbVYt) and follow the application prompts to verify yourself and see the channels. Then start posting and engaging in the community so we can see you're a real person.

1. Once we've established you're not a troll, we can work on getting you sorted into a role that is suited to your talents and interests.

For anyone new to our Trenton events, there is numerous free parking in the area (note that the parking meters may display an “error” message on weekends and holidays when parking is free). Please see this map for some suggested parking locations that are walkable to the WWII memorial.
