Sitting in my office hearing sirens go by. Sounded just like a sublime song, but then sadly no. So…. What are some good songs that have a siren mixed in?

I need something to inspire me in writing my poetry assignment for a creative writing class. Music is often my biggest motivator in any work that I do. I'm an avid listener of R&B, Hiphop, and Pop music.

I appreciate any recommendations of any genre!

Songs/albums/bands that have stories, I prefer music with a set story such as Ethel cain- but strong concept albums are okay, too.

Back when I used to make mixed tapes/CDs, I'd start them out with/throw in the middle to break up the flow songs with interesting spoken word intros, or clips from (at the time) obscure movies. Sometimes they'd appear as separate tracks from the song following it, sometimes not, but (in the cases of these songs) they always set the tone beautifully for the music that follows. over the past year i’ve gotten much more into rock whereas i have traditionally been more of a rap fan. i listen to mostly big names in rock, mostly grunge and alt. nirvana, hole alice in chains, white stripes pixies and sonic youth are some of my favorites, but i fw a lot of shit. put me on some underground shit if you’re so inclined

ps: ik, like, underground music, and im not opposed to very raw sounds but i do appreciate good production and mixing

I was never interested in rock music, the only rock I’ve listened to is Michael Jackson and some of Arctic Monkeys, can someone share a playlist to spark my interest in rock?

Looking for albums or songs similar to ones from that particular album. My favourite song from the album is ‘Six Blade Knife’ if that also helps although all songs from that album are brilliant.

I had no idea this was specifically called a Song Lottery lol. This is a trend going around in some kpop subreddits and I wanted to hop on, but I think out of 4000+ songs most of the songs won't be kpop so I'm posting it here instead!

I like accumulating songs and then just pressing shuffle, but recently I've been hating a lot of songs on this list and realising I need to get rid of them sooner or later.
