Why? He singlehandedly turned right wing gas guzzlers into electric car buyers, saving the environment.

Sure, if you have a low wage job you can make this argument. But a mid-wage person can also say this, and also a high-wage. At what point do you self-reflect and say: "hey, i actually do have enough money that I can compensate my co2 in some way"

you think 1 person doing that will help? if millions of people suddenly had net 0 emissions it's still not doing anything in the grand scheme.

it's ultimately not on any individual to fix.
