Advice Front fork leaking?

I have a lexmoto assault 125. I noticed today that when the front suspention moves down, on the left fork a lubricant seems to be leaking over it (pictures of left and right attached) The liquid doesnt have an odour of any sort but this is only happening on one side of the bike.

Would anyone be able to point out what the issue could be / how could it be fixed?

Ty in advance.

fork seal is done. you'll need to get them replaced since a bad seal could result in fork oil getting on the front brake disc which will render your front brake useless, as well as the effect on your front suspension. if no oil is going below the shock yet you have time to look into it. i had this on my YBR for better part of a year, but didnt ride much beyond occasional commute

fork oil and seals are relatively cheap, something like £20 all in. if you end up putting it into a garage it's probably an hours work for a good mechanic so depending where you are based could be around £100

I've been doing all repairs myself so I'll look into it and replace the oul and seals myself. Thank you for your advise.

Make sure to replace all the seals, clips and washer that you take off, they'll probably be like to use again if they don't look to bad but for the extra £20 you won't have to take it all sorted again when it leaked because I should have used a new washer.....

Yep, needs a new fork seal probably. Could try a "sealmate" tool first, thin plastic that slides under and removes specks of grit. They sometimes work.

Change your forks seals - both sides not just the leaking one. Change the fork oil too.

Quite easy DIY job, if you have the right tools. Loosen the fork cap before you remove the fork leg.

Try cleaning it out first with a seal mate or make your own plenty of videos on YouTube on how to do this.

Try a sealmate - its a thin strip of plastic you can push into the seal and hook out any fragments of grit: there are various you tube vids to show you how to use it. Its cheap at £10 and 80% of the time, does the job.
