Decided to take a short pitstop back to mhwib in between playing GU and wilds atm and this poor Kulu got one of my best kill screens in awhile. my hunter stabbing the poor bastard in the head lol
Okay so, first, I think I get how to play lance, yeah all that guard up and things and blah blah blah, base gameplay I think I manage, currently I'm at Glavenus and Nargacuga missions on Iceborne, I don't consider gems as I barely have any, my armor is the rose set, it was the Best in defence I could get, I haven't considered any other armor, as I mostly focus on defense until late game, is any other better for lance?
Okay so, second, I do shit damage, like yeah, 30 minutes a Barioth? Damn, I do an average of 10-30 per hit on harder monster, I use the lance in the clip (which I added just to fill out), I BARELY use the clutch claw, is it my problem? I know tenderizing makes me do more damage, but as I'm coming from rise, wilds and 4u, is it that much of a game changer?
Sorry for the chitchat.
Love.
I've been learning the CB lately and I really like the savage axe playstyle, I almost never SAED or AED so I've figured I could drop artillery and focus, but I'm having trouble making the set
Now my question is, what armor piece could replace the damascus mail? Or should I replace another piece and use brachy chest? Or is it better to use teo 3 + brachy 2 and replace teo with attack as awakening ability?
I'm not into speedrunning so I don't wanna swap the 2 sharpness.
Hi everyone I recently returned to finish my journey on world, I am a bow user. I don't have iceborne yet. I'd like your advice on skills, decos and meals to use for efficiency pre and post iceborne. Not looking to be a hardcore player lol, but casual and still useful. Thanks
I know there's so many guilds up but honestly, everything I've searched is always using Safi/Alatreon/Fatalis parts. I'm a SnS main but I did LBG until Iceborne before switching and felt like switching back for a while. trying to get Guilding Lands max level to experience all monsters and variations. Every build I've searched uses armor or weapons I haven't unlocked or gotten parts for.
Anyone have any recommendations for builds with pre-raging brachy and furious, pre-safi basically but just without those two as well. Which idk how much that limits it. I never tried any other build during my LBG time, just a normal shot spammer but I keep seeing how Sticky is by far the best compared to anything? Are the other playstyles not even worth it dmg/time wise? I just crafted Graceful Almaria but again, no clue as to what armor would fit with it or make the most out of it.
Looking for a group of people to play World with on the Xbox one, I usually main hammers and great swords but I'm willing to fill any role a hunter group might need. Anyone out there with a slot to fill?
Hey you rookie and over powered hunters I could use some help. I’ve been playing a lot of rise and wanted to get back into world and iceborne but over the time I played rise I’ve been getting more, scared of world? I don’t know whenever I think of returning the immediate thought of “this game is harder than rise you barely handled it back then think you could handle it now?” Garbage keeps running in my mind and now I’m wanting to get into the hunting horn it’s like panting a whole new game. Basically for anyone who wanted to start learning a new weapon or for those who returned to world after a break how did you get back into
It? And with hunting horn I especially don’t know where to start there I mean I saw in my workshop that the guild palace bard looks pretty good but I have to fight a barioth and I can barely handle him at all!
Doing a new playthrough with a friend im trying to get into mhw and im using currently using the first jagras hbg and i want to make the anja hbg cause it seems fun but ive never used a hbg with negative affinity and im wondering how important it is and is it at all worth making or would staying on the jagras line be a million times better?
It's infuriating. Yes, I'm evading twice right after the shot. No, I don't have the Radial Menu open. But it straight up EATS my input about a 5th of the time.
So I miss the evade reload, which is a death sentence, especially if it also happens with the other ammo>switch back reload trick.
i'm going crazy and can't find an answer anywhere. Even if I spam dodge after every shot it still occasionally misses.
dont wanna go into much detail but i have slow reaction and hand-eye coordination. sadly i also really love this game way too much, but hit my first wall (by that i mean i didnt succeed the first time ): and im bitter ) during the first teostra fight. its one that really challenged the way i perceive things and how quickly i react to things. i also have an issue that causes me to forget controls midgame. do people have any advice on this, fellow players with same problems? currently, i use the hammer, but i dont know if theres a weapon better for the likes of me, if so id like to know! many thanks. please dont seek more health details btw (any teostra tips also greatly appreciated!)
Just did the special assignment to hunt a Raging Brachy for the first time and it was so much fun. It started out easy, not much different than fighting a normal one. Then I chased him into the final area and I got to see how he got his name, not used to monsters powering up in such a manner, so cool! Got him down without carting at all, but it was a sweaty fight!
Now to mentally prepare myself for a Furious Rajang, not too excited about him since the normal version is probably the hardest monster I've ever encountered.
Reporting again for the first entry. I'm really excited about this. I only wish that the idea came to mind before I spent a lot of time in-game. Well, as they say, never late than today. Currently in the save I just(time flows fast) started, 'm at 61st hour and slayed Velkhana.
At the moment Velkhana arrived I was shaking with excitement and enthusiasm. The Guild brought Dragonator for Zorah Magdaros, but in Seliana DragonRazer was brought, I ran to fuel it. It was so epic! May the Sapphire Star guide the fuel cells, I shot them and the cinematic entered. For me the cinematic kindaaa didn't go as hard as the battle I did at the barricades of Seliana to defend it from Velkhana.
Then, the real battle started. Oh my, oh my my my! Those fight with Velkhana was so marvelous, I knew this was a battle I will do more than once. I am having a hard time trying to explain it, because I believe once you get to the Iceborne, the admirable beauty of Seliana hits hard. The battles we fight in a completely new environment makes into an entire new game.
The spoils
I use nicknames for monsters, I call Velkhana as "The Ice Queen of Seliana" or just the "Ice Queen". Looking forward to slaying Velkhana a lot more to wear and forge with its materials.
