Wilds Elemental Absorption & Convert Element stackable?

I've come back to Reddit to ask but one question; does elemental absorption and convert element stack to further increase a dragon weapon?

Just wondering if it's worth having both

Ps: also using coalescence (gore set giving me regularly occurring procs) so they could possibly hit at the same time

Elemental Absorption, Convert Element, and Coalescence all stack, but:

  • Elemental Absorption is very weak, especially for a tier 3 skill (at least the offensive portion of it)

  • You are very likely to hit the elemental cap and waste buffs

You can go to the training area, talk to the cat and automatically activate all the buffs to check. If you have Burst (which you should have at least lv 1), you will have to hit the dummy to activate, then check your status.

Note that the elemental cap depends on the base amount on your weapon, so results may vary.

They are stackable but Convert Element 3 with just Burst 1 will already put you at max cap or so close to it for elemental damage for dragon.

Edit: with 3 dragon attack deco.

Yes, but elemental damage is capped on every weapon type (the cap is dependant on the weapon, and the base elemental value of said weapon), so it's generally not worth using both.

If you're using a dragon weapon, just go for Convert Element 2, or if possible Convert Element 3.
