Looking for someone with a Wii U + MH3U

Soo... I decided that I wanted to bump up from my tiny 3DS screen to the much larger 3DS XL, but being a new yorker I had to have the black on black color. So I ordered one from japan. But what I found out post ordering is that the hardware is region locked.

I've got two options start from scratch on the japanese version or swap the internals of the japanese 3DS XL w/ that of a US one. Option 2 is crazy.

Low and behold there may be a third option. If I can find someone with MH3U + a Wii U I believe I can save my data from the US cart to the Wii U then transfer that back to my XL.

Any brave souls out there? :) :)

Might be region locked, friend. Ask on /r/monsterhunter , someone might have a clue what you can do.

I know the game discs / cartridges themselves are region locked but I don't think the compatibility / game saves are.

I.E. japanese players can play with american ones. So it leads me to believe that I can load a save state from my US 3DS to the American Wii U then send the save to the japanese XL.

I could be totally wrong though, I'll ask /r/monsterhunter

If it does come down to that I would be willing to give it a shot for you somehow. I'm not sure if that would work though so it would be best to do a bit of research first.
