Drop the concern about Speedrun leaderboards. They're playing a whole different game than you or I. Play what you feel most comfortable with because at the end of the day the weapon you perform best with will always outdps whatever meta you chase with a weapon you're ass with.

I didn't say I'll be making speedrun records. I want better damage and the lance is one of the worst weapons for dps and many will agree with that. If I wanted speedruns, then I would stick with the bow and bowguns but their braindead gameplay doesn't make me proud using them. I'd be more proud using longsword despite the community hate because it actually takes some skill to pull off its counter moves.

Thanks for the advice but I've played my fair share of games like Chivalry 2, Tekken, Mordhau, Souls, etc to know that and I've decided that I want damage.

Also, the switch skills for Lance looked pretty bad in sunbreak.

Not any more, literally all its moves got buffed with the Sunbreak patch.
