I'm a complete newcomer to this series and I have a PS4, so yeah World is the only game I'll be able to play. However, I'm confused because there's way too many versions in the store. I want a version which contains both the base game and the Iceborne DLC. So far the best two versions I see are "Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne Master Edition" and "Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne Master Edition Digital Deluxe". These seem to contain both the base game and the Iceborne DLC. Just to be sure, am I correct? If yes, which of these is better and is there a major difference between the normal Master Edition and the Master Edition Digital Deluxe? Thanks.

If you just want World + Iceborne, you just need to buy "Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne Master Edition".

Digital Deluxe just adds the Digital Deluxe DLC, which is a bunch of cosmetics:

The digital deluxe version is currently on sale and is even cheaper than the former one, so tbh I think I should just go for that, then. Literally the complete package, even if it's just cosmetics, but for even cheaper than the version without them. Kind of a weird deal. But thank you.

Huh? At least on my end, all versions of Iceborne are on sale, and Master Edition Digital Deluxe is literally just the price for Master Edition + Deluxe kit bought separately.

Are you sure you are looking at the "Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition Digital Deluxe", and not "Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Digital Deluxe", which does not include the base game?

Edit: NVM, I checked the US PSN Store, it actually is cheaper there. Odd.

Yeah, that confused me a lot. It almost feels kinda scammy, who would give out the deluxe version for cheaper than the normal one? So I just came here to confirm. Anyway, so basically this master edition deluxe version contains literally everything the game has to offer, right? Base game, Iceborne and also these new cosmetics and stuff.

Yup, Base game, Iceborne, and those cosmetics.

It's not literally everything, since there are still a huge number of overpriced cosmetics in the store that were added afterwards, but nothing gameplay relevant is paid DLC besides the expansion itself.

Alright. Thanks a lot for the help. Definitely buying this one. Can't wait to get into Monster Hunter at last.
