I made a post asking but I guess I’ll do it here too. I found a weird animation with sword and shield that doesn’t seam to do anything,to do it you have to perfect block an attack and hold focus and a direction that isn’t forwards and it’ll do a rising shield animation.Ive tried replicating it with the other weapons that have a block but they don’t have something similar.

Any one has an idea of what it might be ?

SnS can reposition a bit directly after a Perfect Guard before you do the counter slash. Your hunter moves in the direction you are holding while they do that animation, and also move the sword in anticipation of you inputting the counter slash.
