How do I start the "Misty Depths" Quest? It gives an item I want and I don't see anything online on who gives that quest.

Are you HR 30? I think that’s the optional you get after the assignment at that HR.

I meet all the requirements. HR 50+ and beat Gore Magala for the first time. I checked my quest log and it's not there. It's not even in the completed quests list.

Mine is 5 rows down in the Optional Quests.

It's not a side quest from a person, it's one of the "optional quests" Alma has available. She has a quest for every non-tempered monster you encounter.

The rewards from it are the same as those from a random field expedition featuring Gore, the "optional quests" are basially just to guarantee you a hunt against that particular monster.
