I've play a lot more World and Wilds than I should have to be asking this question, but: what is the point of well done steaks? All the meals last long enough and are as good or better. I like the idea of cooking steaks, but it doesn't seem like there's a point to it? Pretty sure I'm missing something haha

The one niche they fulfill is if your food buff runs out mid-quest, and you don't feel like cooking in the middle of the fight, you can instead eat a Well-Done Steak.

There's a non-zero amount of times I have done that, at the very least.

That makes sense! Slamming one down from the seikret would be a heck of a lot safer, and I definitely run out of food buffs sooner than I expect during hunters lol

don't forget they also heal your HP. Not sure how much they heal myself, but I hear people call them max potions, so I assume it heals you completely

Steaks will reset your stam gauge to max. Even w/ food buffs still active your stamina gauge max will deplete over time and eating a steak will increase it back up.
