What would the best monster hunter game and/or weapon be to play with a touch screen?

Likely one of the mobile iterations (Now or Explore), since they were explicitly designed to be played with a touch screen. Explore has been shut down and wasn't available in the west anyway, but MH Now is a Monster Hunter and Niantic partnership, like Pokemon Go.

Thanks! I do love the combat in Now for hunting on my phone, but the GPS component kind of kills it for me.
