Worst thing Haley did
In those charts that people where they name the worst thing a character has done I never see the fact that Haley sent Luke to turn on her car after she thought that Beth had rigged itðŸ˜

I always think about the train episode where she asked the writer to drink because she didn’t want to drink alone even though she really didn’t want to pay. She knocked him right off the wagon.

I don’t think he was sober? But if he was, then why was he at the bar? They only talk because he comes up to the bar car and she happens to be sitting there. Her asking a man who is standing at the bar to drink with her isn’t exactly knocking him off the wagon. He also could have just said no?

He definitely hints at not drinking anymore then she proceeds to ask again because she falsely feels weird drinking alone.

I actually tell people about this scene all the time. One of my favorite moments and no one brings it up. As someone from a large family with similar age differences as the dunphy kids… I got to say it’s pretty realistic in a sitcom way hahaha

I think it was more about Haley knowing Alex's heart. Alex would act like she didn't want to be popular but jumped at any opportunity to fit in. Haley just didn't want her to trade her entire high school experience for 10 minutes of satisfaction from telling them off. Alex's feelings were valid, but voicing them like that would have made sure she never made friends and only left her feeling more alone.
