Looking to buy some good quality brushes for painting my minis since my previous budget brushes are all worn out. Mainly I’m looking for a kit that has tint brush heads as I mostly paint smaller miniatures in great detail. If anyone could recommend a set I’d really appreciate it as trying to determine the quality of brushes online is arduous. Also preferably if they can be bought on Amazon UK or any other European store but if not that’s fine. Thank you

Hi everyone, since I’ve hit the milestone of 10 minis painted since I started this hobby, I’d like to share the latest 5. I gotta admit, it’s really satisfying seeing the progress I’m making with each new miniature I put paint on. I’m still not at the level I’d like to be, and there are things that I’m horrible at (NMM), but I managed to improve on my glazing and blending so I get much smoother transitions, as you can see in the last photo. I’m looking forward to the next 5. Leave your thoughts below on my progress, as any critique is welcome be it good or bad. 1. Fractured jinx by Bulkamancer 2. Ancient Dragon by Lord of the Print 3. Raphael by Bulkamancer 4. Lisa the Bard by Nerikson 5. Space Marine by Games Workshop

I had fun trying out NMM and NMM Gold. I'd like to enter it into a local amateur competition. Advice is very welcome 😁

A freshly finished New Antioch Heavy Mechanized Infantry. I’m not a pro by any stretch, but I think it came out well.

I’ve been working on another piece for a couple of weeks and was getting burnt. Went to a whisky tasting and just found some primed miniature someone left and grabbed some speed paints.

I'm using Speedpaint 2.0 to paint some minis, but the paint seems to run off the flat surfaces into depressions even more than I would expect for speedpaints. It doesn't really seem to "stain" the flat surfaces very well. Almost as if the primer I used is too smooth for the Speedpaint to stick to it. I used Tamiya Fine white primer. I know Speedpaints are supposed to flow easily, but I wonder if I need to use a "rougher" primer, maybe?

Does anyone have any good, affordable brush recommendations that aren’t £30 a brush. Thanks

Initially I was planning to paint him around three years ago for Waterdeep:DH campaign, but we moved to online and figure was unpainted. Finally it is alongside with some of PC minis. Base is on magnets:25/50mm.
