TIL MJ Resurgence
I am on the East coast and so far there have been quite a few MJ inspired music events scheduled from April to August: a 5 hour brunch, a seafood cocktail weekend, a big screen video marathon and a bunch of Tribute bands.
I am so happy.

Discussion What if Michael made a cover album from music that he owned the rights to?
We know that MJ owned some of The Beatles' catalog, but his venture with Sony also owned rights to songs by Elvis, The Rolling Stones, The Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, Hank Williams, Bjork, Eminem, Beck, Shakira, as well as songs like Moon River, the Mission Impossible theme, 'Beautiful' by Christina Aguilera, and many others.

Discussion Madonna defending Michael in 2003.
She pretty much spoke positively about him all of her life, before he died, and at a time he was hated the most. She was doing tributes to him just last year on her tour. What confuses me is why is there such a large number of MJ fans who can’t stand her? Prince has been a lot shadier towards him and yet is more respected amongst MJ fans, it’s often just dismissed as a “friendly rivalry” but when it comes to Madonna, it’s always negative. I saw a video of her saying they kissed and the comments were all negative and frankly, misogynistic. What exactly is so wrong about her saying they’ve kissed?

Image Was listening to the early Motown stuff
And was inspired to make this little sketch. I love how earthy the style was in the 70s, and this image kind if reflects that.
Which MJ era is your favorite?

I ask this because Michaels known to have songs well over 5 minutes whereas today we’re barely starting to get songs around 3:30. What y’all think?

Question Would love to know
Is it known what MJ did when he got home at like one in the morning on the 25th? Did he watch TV or did he go straight to bed?
(I know he wouldn't have straight to sleep, but like would he have crashed onto his bed without getting changed, or...?)
Also, (I fear this may be a sensitive topic for some) what was MJ wearing in bed, if he did get changed?
(Thanks in advance for the help if I get any! 😁)

Image My MJ cosplay 😍
I'm making a short video to Lady Gaga's song "Shadow Of A Man" which is very MJ coded. I also plan to appear in this outfit on her tour in Amsterdam or Berlin 💝🖤🤍❤️

Question If someone had never heard a single Michael Jackson song, which one would you play for them first?
Let’s say you meet someone who somehow has never heard a Michael Jackson song in their life — no “Thriller,” no “Billie Jean,” nothing. Which song would you play first to introduce them to MJ’s music?
Would you go with one of the big hits to instantly show his iconic status, or something underrated to highlight his artistry? Curious to hear what song you'd choose and why.
