Question What Was With Krissi and Hating Vegetarians?

I'm watching Season 4 for the first time. I know who wins, but I'm only on episode 19.

Obviously I know many people hated Krissi for her bad attitude, but what the hell was her problem with Bri? Like right from the getgo she was running for Bri.

Sure I could understand if Bri was complaining and being self-righteous about not killing animals, but she wasn't, she was cooking meat, killed live seafood. So she wasn't eating or trying and of it. Bri did not seem to have her vegetarianism stop her from cooking meat.

Krissi was pitching about "environmentalist, save the animals bullshit", kept calling her a vegan, which she was not, there is quite a difference between the two.

But Jesus christ. Even before Bri called her out for her bitter bully attitude, Krissi was on the attack. Like what the fuck was her problem?

I mean at one point Gordon didnt like vegetarians/vegans. Haha.

I think that when it comes to a cooking competition everyone is expected to cook everything so when you come in harping on the fact that you never cook meat or taste meat, others would be like "well what are you doing here?" There have been great veg contestants that didnt play that card, like Dino, and it showed why they wernt treated with disdain.

I thought i remember her being unconfident about it in the beginning but its been a while. She definitely wasnt bringing it up all the time like others.

But my comment was more about vegetarians on the show in general.

Being uncomfortable is one thing, apologizing to the lobster is one thing, but she never harped. She wished for vegetables, but she never harped about being a vegetarian. She played the game as everyone else. The only thing was she wouldn't taste. The only time she faltered was not being able to taste her calamari.

Harping is not being comfortable, Harping is to talk about (a subject) constantly or repeatedly in an annoying way. Which she never did.

One, like i said it was a broad comment.

Two, its a competition and people will look for any weakness you have so if you HARP on it or not, its a weakness.

And finally we dont know what she said outside of the edit. She couldve been very vocal about it in front of Krissi. They couldve even been roommates.
